Photographer and filmmaker Charles Lum has an uncompromising vision of how HIV affects personal experience on medical, emotional and political levels. A graduate of Carleton College (1980); a MFA in Photography at the School of The Art Institute of Chicago (2004); and a Director’s Guild of America member, Charles has worked for twenty years as a Location Manager for feature films and television commercials. An expanding series of his short videos have now been screened around the world.
