Karri Kuoppala
Karri Kuoppala is a Helsinki born (1976) artist currently living in Glarus, Switzerland. Besides his solo work with painting Kuoppala works as a duo with Muriel Lässer under the name KARIEL. Kuoppala studied Visual Communication in the U.K., fine arts in Zürich and in Helsinki art academy where he received his MFA in 2008. Kuoppala's work has been exhibited in MAP's Tänka på döden in Stockholm, 111th Finnish Artists' exhibition and in Contemporary art museum Kiasma. His works are in the collections of Contemporary art museum Kiasma and Helsinki city art museum.
