De titel Sommige auto's hebben nog een ziel en het beeld van de auto, het gezicht, zijn afkomstig van een poster in de nieuwe expositieruimte, die voorheen dienst deed als garage. Deze semi-openbare ruimte, die open is aan de straatkant, is zowel /white cube/ als scène en biedt Komplot de mogelijkheid om zijn projecten in situ voort te zetten, zoals ze oorspronkelijk gepland waren.

Fulvia Di Pietrantonio, Gauthier Leroy, Grégoire Motte en Freek Wambacq refereren in hun werk aan archetypische architectuur en mythische landschappen, benadrukt door hun werkwijze van behouden en verwijderen van sporen uit het verleden. De documentaire van Jef Cornelis op de Documenta van 1972, die te zien zal zijn in de caravan, brengt de kijker eveneens terug naar het ontstaan van de hedendaagse kunst, toen deze nog choquerend was. Als tegenstelling stellen Tessy Bauer en Delphine Deguislage werk voor dat duidelijk in het heden staat, aangezien de deelname van de toeschouwer vereist is.

Le titre Certaines voitures ont encore une âme et l'image de la voiture/visage proviennent d'un poster trouvé sur le lieu de l'exposition qui est un ancien garage de réparation de voitures. Ouvert sur la rue, espace semi-public, à la fois cube blanc et scène, le garage permet à Komplot de poursuivre ses projets "tous supports" dans
des lieux et selon des scénarios inédits.

Fulvia Di Pietrantonio, Gauthier Leroy, Grégoire Motte et Freek Wambacq ont créé des pièces faisant référence à des architectures archétypales et des paysages mythiques accentuant la démarche curatoriale de conservation/nettoyage des traces du passé. Le documentaire de Jef Cornelis sur la Documenta de 1972, visible dans la caravane emmène lui aussi le visiteur au temps de la genèse de l'art contemporain, quand il
choquait encore! En contraste, Tessy Bauer et Delphine Deguislage proposent des pièces qui sont elles bien ancrées dans le présent puisqu'elles existent par l'action du visiteur.

Stadium IV (Brussels-ed. 3/17) by Freek Wambacq

Komplots' invitation came at a time Freek Wambacq was thinking about copying the ancient marble starting line of the Olympia stadium in Greece. The space where the exhibition is organized, an abandoned garage, is only separated from the street by an iron shutter. The marble line parallel with the shutter counter balance the space as a departure, the sculpture has been inaugurated on the 27th of October 2007 and has been destroyed after the closing party on the 22nd of March 2008.

The sculpture is named Stadium IV as the Olympia stadium was moved three times already in the 5th century B.C. The subtitle stands for the place where the particular segment of the line is produced, Brussels, followed by the edition, first 3 blocks of 17. Almost like an international pact, only extensions from different countries are considered valuable to complete the copy of the ancient line (17/17).
