The Catwalk is an exhibition in which decor, sound and words mingle. A reproduction of a fashion event testing the boundaries between High Culture and Low Culture such as hypes, fashion and style. In The Catwalk we are looking for a clash between the practice of ever shifting tastes on the one hand and a constant quest for perfection and sustainable, visual harmony on the other.

The Catwalk is een tentoonstelling waarin decor, geluid en woorden elkaar ontmoeten. Deze reproductie van een mode-evenement test de grenzen van de hoge cultuur en de lage cultuur, zoals hypes, mode en stijl. In The Catwalk gaan we op zoek naar de confrontatie tussen de praktijk van de eeuwig wisselende smaken aan de ene kant en de constante zoektocht naar perfectie en duurzame visuele harmonie aan de andere kant.

The Catwalk est une exposition dans laquelle le décor, le son et les mots se mêlent. La reproduction d'un événement de mode qui teste les limites entre élite et masse à travers la hype, la mode et le style. Dans The Catwalk nous recherchons un affrontement entre les pratiques, le goût perpétuellement changeant d'une part et la quête constante de perfection et d'harmonie visuelle durable d'autre part.
