GEOLOGOS is not an exhibition that takes place at Komplot, nor will it be a group show at geologos . space . It already happened — on the silica-caked shores of geothermal pools, in the bubbling mud pots and craggy volcanic terrain of the Reykjanes Peninsula. Imagine pressing your hands into the gooey muck and muculent secretions behind the screen. Join us for a hypnotic journey through the valleys and crevices, the extruded pixels of a crystalline ice land. Experience the power of Terra firma in full 4D.Blunt x Skensved is an artist duo (Greg Blunt and Emmy Skensved) who have been collaborating since 2013. Together, they produce exhibitions, events, and web-based curatorial projects. Their practice spans a variety of media, including digital animation, photography, audio and web design, exploring themes of economic and bodily consumption, subculture, social ritual, and technological extensions of the body. Some of their recent projects include TeraTear (Moscow Biennale for Young Art), Swimminal Poolitics (DIS Magazine), Deep Skin (SNOlab) and eStamina (Import Projects and 8eleven).

L’exposition GEOLOGOS ne se déroulera pas à Komplot et ne fera pas non plus partie d’une exposition collective sur http://geologos.space. En réalité, elle a déjà commencé : sur les rebords des bassins géothermiques couverts de silice, dans les sources bouillonnantes de boue et sur la terre volcanique et escarpée de la péninsule de Reykjanes. Imaginez-vous presser de vos propres mains un tas de boue gluant et des sécrétions visqueuses derrière l’écran. Joignez-vous à nous pour un voyage hypnotique dans les vallées et les crevasses d'une terre glaciale et cristalline, à travers des pixels plus vrais que nature. En 4D, ressentez l'authentique pouvoir de la terre.Blunt x Skensved est un duo d’artistes (Greg Blunt et Emmy Skensved) collaborant depuis 2013. Ensemble, ils travaillent sur des expositions, des événements mais également des projets curatoriaux en ligne. Leur pratique couvre une multitude de médias, incluant l’animation digitale, la photographie, le design audio et numérique ; explorant ainsi les thèmes de la consommation du corps et plus largement la consommation en tant que telle, des sous-cultures, des conventions sociales et des innovations technologiques liées au corps. Parmi les récents projets auxquels ils ont participé : TeraTear (Moscow Biennale for Young Art), Swimminal Poolitcis (DIS Magazine), Deep Skin (SNOlab) et eStamina (Import Projects and 8eleven).

GEOLOGOS is niet een tentoonstelling die plaatsvindt in Komplot, noch is het een groepstentoonstelling op http://geologogos.space. Het is reeds gebeurd - op de stranden van aangekoekt kiezelgesteente en geothermische baden, in de pruttelende modderpot van geribbelde vulkanische terreinen op Reykjanes Peninsula. Beeld je in dat je je handen in het papperige slijm van de afscheidingen stopt achter het scherm. Ga met ons mee in een hypnotiserende reis door de valleien en spelonken, de doorgedrukte pilaren van een kristallen ijsland. Ervaar de kracht van Terra firma in full 4D.Blunt x Skensved is een kunstenaarsduo (Greg Blunt en Emmy Skensved) die samenwerken sinds 2013. Tezamen maken ze tentoonstellingen, evenementen, en web-based curatoriele projecten. Hun praktijk omvat een variëteit aan media, waaronder digitale animatie, fotografie, audio en web design, die thema’s van economische en lichamelijke consumptie verkennen, subculturen, sociale rituelen, of technologische extensies van het lichaam.
