Tavanmukainen
Directed by Komplot curator, poet, lapsed Protestant and conscientious objector Kosten Koper, 'Tavanmukainen' is a curatorial 'micro state' which takes risks in safe spaces and plays safe in risky spaces ; an autarchic fantasy of transgression, a space of pseudo activity.
'Tavanmukainen', a psychosomatic 'state' will consists of two distinct zones : 'The Embassy' and 'The Waiting Room' played out using quixotic images and diaphanous vocabulary. Between each zone there will be a space of intermediate flux where the relation between the 'transmitters' and 'receivers' will be drowned by a terrifying wave of operatic hyper-realism which points to the story of another White Hotel : D.H. Howard's psychoanalytic fiction of a neurotic opera singer treated in the 1920's by Sigmund Freud.
Komplot present auto productions in 'The Embassy' by Kurt Ryslavy, Ella Klashka, Meeuw Muzak, Sara Ten Westenend, David Evrard a.o.
